East Anglia Influencer Club - Summer Showcase

Essex based PR and Marketing agency, Orange, was on a mission to host a unique and innovative event that allowed brands within the food and drink, health and beauty, and lifestyle sectors to connect with a variety of both distinguished and upcoming influencers based in East Anglia, to form valuable relationships and discuss potential partnerships.

"As experts in influencer marketing, Orange set out to create an event that would be both exciting and valuable for brands and influencers in the East Anglian region. We were absolutely thrilled with the success of our first event, The Summer Showcase. The event gave established and emerging brands the opportunity to build meaningful partnerships with some of the region’s most sought-after influencers, perfectly aligned with their target audiences. We’re excited to continue developing the East Anglia Influencer Club into an annual event series that attendees can look forward to, leaving with valuable connections and insights. Stay tuned for 2025, where we already have an incredible lineup of brands ready to make waves!"

About East Anglia Influencer Club - Summer Showcase.

The East Anglia Influencer Club launched in August 2024 with the first event of the series, the Summer Showcase. The influencer event series aims to bring together both new and familiar brands and influencers in East Anglia all together in one place to share exciting ideas, network and most importantly, have fun. Orange plans to continue with the series by hosting annual events, building excitement and giving brands and influencers in and around the East Anglian region a platform to foster growth and opportunities in years to come.

The Brief.

Orange wanted to ensure that the East Anglia Influencer Club Summer Showcase event was a success, giving influencers and brands across the region the opportunity to create valuable connections that would drive authentic engagement. It was important to ensure that the event catered for influencers with children and had a good selection of brands within Orange’s key industry sectors including food and drink, health and beauty, and lifestyle.

What did Orange do?

As experts in influencer marketing, Orange implemented a strategy that involved conducting research and leveraging its existing influencer connections and databases to compile an invitation list. This list included both micro and macro influencers known for their exceptional reputations in the East Anglian region. Orange promoted the event series on its social media and reached out to influencers, inviting them to attend the event, promising an unforgettable day.

Additionally, Orange promoted the Summer Showcase to local brands , inviting them to exhibit at the event, to connect and collaborate with East Anglia’s top influencers. Alternatively, brands had the option to participate in the event’s catering in exchange for its products being displayed and sampled by influencers throughout the day.

The Juicy Results.

The activities carried out by Orange led to the Summer Showcase event being a huge success, with a fabulous turnout of influencers in attendance.

Held at the beautifully historic Layer Marney Tower near Colchester, the event hosted seven fantastic brand stalls including Fairfields Farm, BioGaia, Perrywood Garden Centre, Didofy, Ubbi, Mabel & Friends Day Retreat and Mad Promotions.

Essex & Herts Air Ambulance Trust had its own stall, which was Orange’s chosen charity for the event, giving influencers the opportunity to speak with Communications and PR Manager, Lynda Barrow, learning about the life-saving charity and the amazing work it does for the local community. Influencers were also given a goodie bag full of amazing items gifted by new and leading brands across the country, including face masks from Seventh Heaven, hydrating cacao water from WOW Cacao and a range of delicious Opies treats.

Wanting to create an inclusive event that was able to be attended by everyone, including influencers that have children, Orange also arranged for SEE Yoga Inspiration to hold children’s yoga sessions and give advice throughout the event to keep children entertained. Throughout the day, influencers also had the opportunity to enjoy an exclusive tour of the tower and grounds with owners Sheila and Nick to find out more about its history. They even got to see a few extra animal guests along the way!

The event gave influencers and brands the platform to mingle, connect and form potential brand partnerships, as well as enjoying performances throughout the day from Ellie Rose Music. Perrywood Garden Centre hosted its very own succulent pot workshops, whilst Fairfields Farm did a ‘Guess the flavour’ activity and provided branded colouring pages for children to enjoy and Sweet Hamper Company gave influencers the chance to guess the amount of sweets in the jar to win a fantastic hamper. Attendees enjoyed a delicious grazing board, as well as drinks provided by Sweet Freedom, WOW Cacao, and Vocation Brewery.

Orange looks forward to hosting the next East Anglia Influencer Club event of the series in 2025.
